Hey guys,
I really need someone's opinion on this. Currently I am a sophomore at the University of Arizona. Currently, I am majoring in Information Science and Arts and Economics, but I actually really want to major in Hospitality and Tourism or something along those lines. That major or anything close to that is not offered here, but I don't know if it's worth it to transfer to another school. The class sizes in the school are starting to really bother me because they're so large I just feel like a number and there's no point in going to huge lecture classes. I am starting to become really disinterested in school because I don't know what I want to do and it's affecting my school work because I feel like I'm not happy anymore. I don't know if I could transfer because it would set me back because I'm already a sophomore and I might've waited too long to decide to transfer. There are things that are keeping me here though like my friends and my job and everything is paid for. I was thinking about transferring to RIT, because I got in when I applied in high school, but that would involved moving across the country and not knowing anyone which would make me really scared. They do have a good hospitality program though. Can someone please give me advice on what to do? I don't know if I'm just experiencing a sophomore slump or I'll get over it if I can find a major I like. ASU is also in Arizona and I could transfer there too because they also offer hospitality but the school is much bigger than the U of A.
