Should I use a Biology or Chemistry Teacher Recommendation?

Hi!

I’m trying to decide whether to use my Biology or Chemistry Teacher Recommendation for college apps.

I’m applying as a Biology major.

I’m more closer to my Chemistry teacher because she was the Science Olympiad Club Advisor, and I’ve done it during high school and won a few awards and also am the secretary of the club. I also took her chemistry class, and she really likes me. She also wrote a recommendation for a summer research program that I got into.

I’m a little bit less closer to my Biology teacher because I took her class during distance learning. But I did really well in her class, and she seems to like me too. She also wrote a recommendation for a summer research program that I got into.

I’m just not sure who’s I should use since I’m applying for a Biology major, not a Chemistry major.

Also, another question:

For colleges that accept up to 3 teacher recommendations- should I use a English teacher recommendation and 2 science teacher recommendations, or a English teacher recommendation, 1 science teacher recommendation, and 1 math teacher recommendation. (my math teacher taught me for 2 years, was part of the school site council that I was on, and was also the advisor for a math competition club that I was and won a few awards in.)

Please let me know what you guys think.

I think you are over thinking. Get core teachers. Chem is great if that is who knows you best. Then the second should be another subject. Math, social science, English. Few ask for three. Typically the third they ask (optional) might be a coach or someone outside of school.
Good luck
