Should I wait??

I'm not sure if I want to be a doctor yet, but I'm pretty sure I do. I love biology and am probably doing bio - pre-med in whatever school I end up going to. I also love math and history and social studies, so I think I'll also major in economics. Or music, but only if it's performance or history.

I'm looking into BA/MD and BS/MD programs because I am pretttty sure I want to be a doctor and would love to enter the path early on. However, I'm also a little iffy about it because I want to pursue my other interests, namely music, math/history/s.s. etc. as well. In that case, I'll apply to med school during my undergrad years...

I don't know if I should wait or just jump into it...

And just for kicks, chance me so I'll have a better idea what to expect? -- PSU/Jefferson, Pitt, Lehigh/Drexel, Drexel

GPA - 4.0/4.9 (weighted)
SAT - 650 CR, 780 M, 730 W (10 E)
SAT II's - 700 Bio M, 730 US History
8 AP's by the end of senior year. got 5's on every exam taken.
EC's - lots of music stuff. lots. research at lab with 3 doctors. president of two clubs (not science/medicine related at allllll).

I do not know about programs that you listed. However, my D. is in BS/MD at one of our state schools. She had strikingly similar stats and also is very interested in music. Her minor is Music Composition, since performance would be taking more time. She continues palying piano at school on her own and taking private piano lessons in a summer (no college credit). She is traying to learn another instrument on her own. Her other interest is psycology, she hates history. Unfortunately, there is no minor in psycology at her school. She will continue taking Honors Psyc as far as she could at college. Her volunteering also has to do with it. Her BS/MD program is NOT accelerated, and that was the reason why she choose it.
I would advise you to apply to wider range of programs. D. did not get accepted to all BS/MD's that she applied, but she had a choice of 3 and it was nice to be able to choose. The best of luck!
