<p>They have an 80% acceptance rate. I have 67 credits and have a 2.56 gpa. Im not happy with it, but the minimum gpa for my degree is a 2.50. Im a transfer student by the way. Dont know if it makes a difference.</p>
<p>You should be somewhat concerned. If you exceed the minimum GPA, you’ll get in. However, the GPA you see on your transcript is not necessarily the one that Oklahoma will use. OU doesn’t give plus or minus grades, so an 80% and 89.4% are both considered B grades, not a B- and B+ as is the case with most American universities. If you have a few + grades, your GPA will likely decrease, whereas the opposite is true if you have a transcript laden with - grades.</p>

<p>@whenhen Mewbourne! Petroleum Engineering! Apparently, their program is really good there! I was at LSU for Pete but dropped out due to my grades, so i decided to join the air force. Waited 10 months, and still hadn’t gone through the first step, so i decided to go back to school and get serious. </p>
