@mommdc isn’t Princeton more generous that Georgetown? So I’d assume I’d get about the same amount of aid, or even slightly more at Princeton. It ended up being around 17k per year at GU after need based aid (but before loans).
I don’t know, they might come in under your FAFSA EFC. You will have to see. What does the net price calculator say?
Funny that you say that, @Lindagaf. I was rejected from Northwestern today (my first one :D)!
Princeton will almost definitely be significantly less expensive than your FAFSA EFC, probably by a very significant margin.
@Mr. Me Northwestern was my first rejection today, too! I’ve heard from so many people that got rejected haha
I don’t see how anyone can predict a meet full need school will cost under the FAFSA EFC. At this point, OP can only go on what the NPC hinted. And wait and see. Many of us found the school’s EFC was a % higher than the FAFSA number.
Oh dear, sorry to hear that Mr. Me! On the other hand, perhaps you guys are human after all:-) Glad you still have great choices.
@“Mr. Me” as a loyal member of your family’s fan club, I’ve decided to officially begin hating Northwestern as of right now. The nerve of those bums!
Yeah, agree. Northwestern :-q
Haha it might be because I withdrew my application a few weeks ago. I bet they have a vendetta against my entire family now (or maybe not haha).
Did your parents pay $10,000 for all of you to apply to so many schools? With the application fees, CSS fees, scores to be sent in, it must have cost a fortune!
Why $10,000? You mean $1,000?
Maybe $1000 per child, not for all four of them. Lol
Actually, we (the applicants) financed the application process. Plus we got a fee waiver for the applications themselves, so all we had to pay for was test scores and CSS.
So much positivity here! I’m rooting for all of you. Congrats on your amazing acceptances! #realitytv
