Should quadruplet brothers apply to the same prestigious universities?

It’ll be interesting if they don’t attend the same college. Could be hard on the parents coordinating drop off, pick up, and graduation.

OMG- love this article!! Congrats - you guys are great kids - as we could tell early on in this thread. From the article:

“We have to make sure that we’re helping them down the road by not being a financial burden on them when we get older,” Wade said.

This is what you guys were articulating from the beginning of this thread - that you were very focused on getting in to an AFFORDABLE school so as to not burden your parents, without regard so much to prestige (prestige being the most affordable, of course).

I do wish the article mentioned that you all are Top students at your school (Top 10%, lots of ECs etc…) so all the haters don’t think you didn’t earn your admission to these colleges.

P.S. @NikkuWadde You shouldn’t use your real name on CC - LOL. I assumed t was fake until now!

I have been following this thread to bring uplift on those not so great days life brings. When I saw the Post story this morning, I immediately knew it was the awesome Quad young men from CC. Thank you for highlighting what hard work, academic dedication and sensible parenting can bring to fruition. Continued blessings to the entire family.

Oh and er…given my CC name, I’m rooting for one or two of you to pick Harvard! Go Crimson! lol

Just deleted my original post. Was coming on here to post the Washington Post story and thought the other link was for an MSN story, but it was the same one.

So glad for these guys!

Proud of you four. Thank you for sharing your journey. We adults can hardly express what it feels like, when we see some of the next generation thriving in the ways you all are. Even from this distance, I’d bet I’m not the only poster nearly at tears of joy.

OP, at some point, maybe you can share some of what you (all) have done, all along, that led you to this point. Not a typical run though, but, eg, how you pursued your world interests. It could show some how you climbed out of if the usual box, followed your drives, were activated with purpose.

Hugs.

Congratulations for making the news! I am almost disappointed that I now know that the faces behind @Mr. Me and @NikkuWadde look like. I liked my imagination of you guys in this thread because it made this awesome story that much more surreal and improbable. But now, I am so much more inspired. These are real people achieving real accomplishments. If you guys can do it against the odds, who I am not to try on my goals.

Sounds a little cheesy but it is true! Thank you for that!

Besides being so bright, you’re all adorable!
I read the article which was good, but had to stop reading the comments. Most were great and supportive, but there were a couple from ignorant people. I personally would avoid reading the comments. Just always remember that these schools like Harvard are getting almost 40,000 applications and accept 2000+. You guys are special in so MANY ways. THAT is why you were accepted. Stay in touch!

Do you mind if one of us links the video? it’s so utterly charming.

Hey ya’ll one of the quads here. Thanks for being so supportive and sticking with us. We are really happy with how article turned out, and all the positivity in the comments far outshine any negative sentiments.

If you feel so inclined, tune into NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt tomorrow to watch what they have to say about us.

I cannot put into words how blessed we feel. Thanks guys!

This is getting periously close to April the Giraffe for me (I have become convinced that she’s not really pregnant) because i had become fearful that you guys were so great that it couldn’t possibly be real in these cynical times. Which is likely why I burst into tears at my desk this morning when I saw the Washington Post article with that great photo.

Congratulations!!!

And now I can impress all my mom friends with my brush with greatness - I PM’d with someone featured on NBC Nightly News!! Woo hoo!!

OMG- the video at their high school brought me tears (see link below). I love the bickering at the end. After so much GARBAGE news on TV, this really makes me happy. Congrats, boys! What a whirlwind you must be on right now!

Also, please see post #1 of this thread - I predicted they would be famous right off the bat!

Love this story and so impressed by you guys…grounded, thankful and smart. Your parents have done a wonderful job. I hope you are all successful and happy wherever you end up! Stay real!

You guys are adorable.

This is so heartwarming.

Awww. I just saw the video. I liked you guys before, but now I really, really like you. I just love how you brag about each other at the end. So freaking endearing!!!

If my D wasn’t already engaged, I would want her to meet one of you.

Love the video!
You guys should pick Harvard, because Malia is going to want to date one of you!

How fun to see the faces to go with this oh-so-positive thread. Thanks, guys. Now go and rock the world.

I’ve been following this thread since the beginning. It’s been inspirational to read about your positive and thoughtful college search. Congratulations to all of you!
