Should quadruplet brothers apply to the same prestigious universities?

Your parents should also review their social media postings and privacy settings, if they do anything on social media.

I hope you don’t decide to do press, but I know that the allure of appearing on Today or similar will probably be too difficult to resist…just be prepared for the hatred and ugliness that will come along with the attention.

I am pleasantly surprised by how positive and supportive this thread has been. Best of luck to all of you!

This thread is like a sunny beach in the eye of the storm. Thanks for sharing, guys.

Damnnn, good job guys. My full respect goes out to all of you.

Hey Quads,
I would just like say that your guys’ story is just phenomenal. I honestly can’t believe the schools you guys are getting into and the amount of success you’ve been having. You guys are honestly sibling goals. Based on how things are going with my family, I’ve become my family’s “child of promise”. With my little brother not really caring about how he does in high school and it being too close for my baby brother to call, it looks I’m once again being put on pressure to lead the pack. As the child of two African immigrants, you’ve really become an inspiration to me. Although it’s highly unlikely that I’ll go to an Ivy League school like you guys, I’m already set to go beyond the educational opportunities my parents had, even potentially getting myself an internship at NASA, which is what they always wanted for me. You guys are truly an example of the American Dream and I can relate so much to you. I can only hope that as children of immigrants, we can hope that our children will set the bar even higher. I hope you guys find your place in this world, whatever you decided to major in! I’d also really love to meet you guys one day! One of you needs to write the autobiography of your guys’ lives!

Also, if I could ask a really dumb questions :)) , do you guys have any high hopes or dreams you hope to achieve? Do you have anyone you idol? I really want to become a/an mechanical/aerospace engineer working at either NASA, SpaceX, Lockheed Martin, or Northrupp Grumman and I personally idolize Neil DeGrasse Tyson, the astrophysist. Again, you guys are just amazing!

Thank you for your kind words, @ak2018! My brothers and I wish you the best of luck in all of your endeavors. It sounds like you’re on track to accomplish some really amazing things!

I can’t speak for my brothers, but my outlook is this: If my “dream” is something that I can think of right now, then I’m not dreaming big enough! Of course, we all have general ideas of what we’d like to do in the future—but who knows? Ultimately, success (however you define it) is something whose magnitude is constrained only by the limits of our grit and imagination. And there’s no doubt in my mind that my brothers and I (and from the looks of it, you) will positively impact the world.

@Mr. Me Ultimately, success (however you define it) is something whose magnitude is constrained only by the limits of our grit and imagination.

Spoken like a true achiever. *sniffs. This thread has been a source of personal motivation for me and I’m so glad all of you got into great universities.

I know you guys will continue to excel wherever you go. *sniffs some more

Great job! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for sharing this.

did you guys write bout your experiences of being a quad or did you guys focus on your own interests?

Both, @anonapplepi! We did each discuss our different approaches to establishing an identity outside of being “one of the Quads,” but we also made sure to write about our individual quirks, interests, and aspirations.

Look what popped up on my home page this morning. Congratulations, you guys! It’s been great fun to follow your story.
