should teacher recs come from subjects you want to major in?

I apologize if this is a frequently asked question, but I didn't see anything with a google search. I'm applying to schools for biochemistry/premed and I've already gotten a recommendation from a science teacher. A few of the places I'm looking at ask for two teacher recommendations and I'm stuck between an English teacher and another science teacher for my second one. I'm leaning towards the English one, but I'm wondering if it would seem out of place given what I'm applying for?

English is fine, particularly since you already have a LOR from a science teacher. Pick the teacher that will write you the best LOR.

For the vast majority of majors, it doesn’t matter much what you say you’re going to do, students change majors frequently and adcoms know this.
