Shuttle to Wake Downtown - travel time for class scheduling purposes?

My DS will be a freshman at Wake this fall and is preparing for first round class registration. He has already been placed in a FYS that meets Tuesday and Thursdays 11:15 - !2:30 at the Wake Downtown complex.

My question is how long the shuttle takes – so what is the earliest class he could make back on the Reynolda campus after the FYS ends at 12:30?

Same question about getting to the Wake Downtown complex – should whatever early class he signs up for be done by 10:30, or even earlier?

Thanks in advance -

the shuttle runs every 15 minutes starting at 7:25am and runs until 11:10pm.

How long is the actual ride? The schedule you linked shows departure times but not arrival times.

ETA - found the info I was asking about - looks like it’s a 15 minute drive and “Students should set aside 30 minutes between the end of one class and the beginning of another when traveling between the two locations.” Link, for anyone who is reading this later: https://wakedowntown.wfu.edu/parking-transportation/

I am a student who takes the shuttle often - it takes about 12-15 mins! DO NOT try to drive to Wake Downtown during the school day unless you are willing to pay for downtown parking. Taking the shuttle saves a a TON of time as it drops you back right in the middle of campus.

Yes, I should have phrased that using the words “15 minute ride” not “15 minute drive time” - it would be very foolish to drive instead of taking the shuttle!
