a quick question pertaining to my EFC. i have 2 siblings and we will at some point be going to college at the same time. i trail my brother by a year and my younger brother is 3 years behind me. do the number of kids in college change the EFC? thanks.

Having multiple "household members" in college at the same time will reduce the EFC for each student. For FAFSA, two kids in college will typically result in each having their EFC cut in approximately half, so the overall (family) EFC remains about the same as if just one kid was in college.

Profile uses a different formula, but the result is similar.
