Sick during first week of school

How many of you get sick during the first week of school? (Especially during freshman year) And how do you cope with it?

I don’t ■■■■■ out and ***** about a little cold.

No one gets sick in UCLA. It’s a top tier school.

It sucked worse than when my grandmother died. I have gotten over my old lady’s death, but there isn’t a day that goes by I don’t think about missing that first week. Tragic.

I didn’t exactly get sick, just made the mistake of getting my 4 wisdom teeth removed the day before what was supposed to be my first day of college. Week long recovery changed those plans, unfortunetly. To this day it ranks up there as one of the biggest regrets of my life. Feels bad, man.

sick during finals week >> sick during first week

@binks09: Yes, I’m sure you only ■■■■■ out and b*tch about bigger things.

@redskyformiles: No one gets sick at a top tier school? That’s bull. Even if UCLA wasn’t a top tier school, there would still be people contracting diseases like flies.

@Grassbandit: Please give your grandmother my condolences. May her soul rest in peace in heaven (or hell).

@rengesjr: Damn, that’s gotta suck. Hope you’ll never have to go through something like that again.

@sid3000: Have you gotten sick during finals week before?

Gotta agree, being sick during finals week is pretty much the worst time to be sick.

ha ha in school time mostly children make there self sick because they just wanna bunk there classes and waste time in playing all the day…

Pretty sure my whole floor has the black lung right now. Tea and soup ftw!

I had a fever of ~102 F, a nasty cough and severe congestion the weekend before my first Monday midterms my first quarter here. I had two midterms that day… it was pretty unpleasant. And I didn’t do too hot on those exams either, hahaha.

After I recovered, I studied a lot harder for my second round of midterms and ended up with all-right grades.
