Thankss :]

I'm not sure... your grades/SAT I are a tad low for Cornell, and though your Key Club commitment is quite impressive, I don't see anything very Human Ecology related.
I was deferred by HumEc because they wanted to know more about how my EXTRACURRICULARS tied into their mission. I applied to the Human Bio major and my two major EC's were volunteering at the hospital and working at an endocrinology clinic. My grades/test scores were also, don't take this the wrong way, substantially higher than yours. Though you seem like a great applicant, if HumEc could defer me for the reason they did, I can see them rejecting you for something similar unless your HumEc essay was amazing.
Good luck though, who really knows what HumEc is looking for this year?

Thanks a lot :] Yeah I know my SATs are a quite low for Cornell but to compensate I put a lot of effort into the essays. To tie my ecs into Hum. Development I wrote it emphasizing the fact that I want to work in child psychology and talking about my volunteer experiences with underprivilaged children.

best of luck come march! :]
