<p>I learned that I had to lie about pretty much everything I did at the end of freshman year. Everything has been pretty smooth since then.</p>
<p>Other times when I go with friends from school, she will actually go in the theater and wait until they come. You can't really lie to my mom.</p>

<p>I can almost understand your mom, though. Hopefully she will lighten up a little by the time you're sixteen, since you'll have a car! (I high recommend it, anyway.)</p>
<p>I understand why my mom won't let me go, she wants to protect me... for me to be safe. Nevertheless I'm still frustrated because I'm not asking to go with someone who's older/drug abuses/gang member. Just friends from a local school. I'll try to get a friend from my school to come and see what happens.</p>
