signature card/box

Uhh I'm kind of flipping out because I submitted my application for ID tonight and then realized I'd completely forgotten to mail in the box with signature. Will sending it tomorrow be too late? I know it's not some huge integral part of the application, but it won't be postmarked Dec. 1 - is that a problem?

maybe, but probably not. No, they won't reject you because you didn't mail a small part of the application in time. The worst that could happen (and this is unlikely, as it requires confusing paper-shuffling) is that you'd be bumped to regular decision, but that probably won't happen. They'll probably take it a day late, I mean, you could have sent them test scores from tomorrow's SAT, which they won't receive for about 2 weeks, and they would use those.

Ah cool. Another procrastination-caused slip up: I only sent my SAT scores TODAY, although I took them November of last year. I figured it'd be fine, since Dec 2nd scores only come out the 21st, but now I'm not sure. I hate being terrible with deadlines

Yeah, don't worry...Rice wouldn't reject you b/c of one late paper..in fact, last year, one of my sr. friends forgot to mail the page altogether, and rice informed him about 2 weeks later that he can still send it.
