My daughter was accepted to Simmons University Direct admit BSN program with a 28K scholarship. Yay! So happy!
My D received it since we live in MA. You should receive the decision letter soon.
is it through mail? or email?
through postal mail. They donāt send emails.
we live in maryland so iām wondering if it will come today or later on in the week since we live far - she already has received the deposit info in her portal, so i think that means sheās in, but we have no acceptance or anything
Letter here including Financial Aid.
probably early next week
My daughter got accepted today too!!! She was offered entry into the 3+3 DPT and her $26000 scholarship would apply for all 6 years! Thatās truly amazing! But you have to have 3.5 to gain entry into the last three years so that part give me pauseā¦not sure how many kids actually make it into the grad school part. But so far Simmons wins the prize for the best acceptance packet!
What was in the acceptance packet?
A beanie, lots of stickers (pertaining to Simmons, as well as Boston), a nice folder with pamphlets and a poster. Oh, and the acceptance letter was personalized: āWe are particularly impressed with your involvement in XXX, and appreciate your YYY.ā Or something along those lines. As I said, itās been the best acceptance package by far. DePaul sent a sticker. Two other schools sent nothing.
Edited to say I was wrongāanother school did send stickers. So only one school has sent nothing.
I totally forgot about the beanie already!
Itās been a week! That was a nice package.
What major did your child apply for?
Public health.
Can you tell me the date your daughter got her acceptance package?
She says it was December 20.
We are awaiting EA 2 for DPT
Good luck to your daughter!
She is in DPT and Presidential Scholarship we are delighted!
Can someone help me on below questions?
My daughter looking for BSN Nursing (currently she is going start 12th grade).
Local to MA state.
Simmons University is good for BSN Nursing.
Regarding Tuition discounts.
where can we see reviews regrading this university?
My daughter currently attends Simmons (not nursing, though many of her good friends are). She LOVES it, loves her program (Social Work), loves the vibe of the school, loves attending a women-centered university (which is shocking, even to her) and adores living in Boston.
She, and most of her friends, have very generous merit scholarships. Donāt let the sticker price scare you off.
I would suggest picking up the Fiske Guide or Princeton Reviewā¦they offer really good comprehensive information/reviews.
