SIMR 2012 -- Stanford Inst. of Med. Summer Research Program

^ :OOOO

Nevermind then. I guess it’s different for each school. :</p>

wait so did anyone get a call? Cuz I just hung up on someone thinking it was a telemarketer…

nope lol. not yet… u think it was SIMR now?

UPDATE: Admissions decisions will be emailed and posted to your status page at 5 pm (PDT) on Friday, April 13th. Please do not ask us about the status of your application before that time.

On SIMR application.

I read that too. Do you think that means that they are not calling this time?

oh, that’s a relief…more waiting then >>

i really really hope they don’t call =.=

less than 48 hours guys!

Less than 25 hours :)

Do we know the number of people who applied last year and how many of them were selected?

^48 out of about 1,000.

Given the applicant pool has stayed around a thousand past few years, and this year the website says they are looking to accept 70-75, indicates a 7-7.5% acceptance rate…good luck everyone.

Good luck to everyone who applied and don’t give up on research regardless of what happens tomorrow

;~; i haven’t slept well in ages. pathetic i know, but, well.

@stanfordready applicant pools at research programs nationwide have had about a 20% increase in applicants. I would expect SIMR to follow the same trend.

But good luck everyone :)

I wonder what the split would be between juniors and seniors from the accepted list? Seems to me more seniors would get in given the extra year of accomplishments etc…oh well 23 hrs to go !

Decision come out on Friday the 13th…

*Decisions

^I was born Friday the 13th(:

I swear they purposely set that date so we’d blame our bad luck instead of them :(
