<p>hey i have a few questions about the stanford med 8 week research program
1. is it only for instate kids
2. more importantly, what is the legitimacy of this program and reputation, does it help o get into ISEF, or siemens. Also how do colleges look at this compared to something like RSI?</p>

<p>^It looks completely horrid on your application, and siemens folks on purposely will make you lose simply b/c it is in Stanford, a non-prestigious academic institution.</p>
<p>srsly, it’s good. I applied last year, and although I didn’t get in, I did another research program and still got siemens and published papers and stuff. Definitely work on essays for it.</p>
