Since we may not get the QAS in time...

...could you help me identify what my weak spots are.

Here is my breakdown:

CR: 600
M: 640
W: 630

I went into this with maybe 20 minutes studying.

For CR, online it says that I missed 9/13 medium passage based questions. I have RR, but I don't know if I have the time to learn their technique for Saturday. I also have Grammatix, and I may practice on a few PR tests from a book that my school made us buy. Missed 4 sentence completions, but its too late to go memorize words now, especially with the other work I need to do.

For M, I missed 8 questions overall. My worst section was Numbers and Operations, I missed 5 in that section....So what would be an example of a Number and Operation problem? I missed 2 Algebra/functions questions. Surprisingly I only missed 1 Geom. question, I didn't learn a thing in my Geom. class last year, lol.

W: I missed 6 on improving sentences, 3 on IDing errors and 1 on improving paragraphs.

Thanks. I guess my main questions are how to improve on CR and what type of questions fall under the Math section Numbers and Operations.

Thanks everyone!

Numbers and Operations includes the following:

Integer Properties & Operations
Sequences
Arithmetic Word Problems (Words Into Numbers)
Fractions, Percents, Ratios, Rates, Proportions
Counting Problems, Combinations, Logic, Sets

Read the RR strategies. It may help and it won’t take that long. The two main things to remember are: do not read into things (you must be able to justify your answer with the text) and read the answer choices slowly-if you get down to 2-3 choices, find the answers that are wrong, instead of focusing on what is correct.

Thank you very much mom!

no problem. if you need anything else, PM me.
