Single Degree vs a Double Degree

Hi everyone,

I'm currently living in Germany and I'm graduating with an American High School Diploma and about 6 AP's. I have applied for a few universities in Netherlands. And I have an Offer for BSc Econometrics and Operations Research which can be completed in 3 Years. On the other hand I also have an offer for a double Degree program. These will be the two degrees.
BSc Econometrics and BSc Economics. Unlike, Arts and Law(Which is a very popular double degree program) Econometrics and Economics aren't completely unrelated. Infact Econometrics is the statistic evaluation of Economic models. so is it worth doing the double degree?
