Single or coed corridor?

I'm a male entering college next year as a freshman. I noticed on the housing application there's an option for either a single or co-ed corridor? Which generally works out best and anybody have anecdotal evidence to support it? Thanks

I’m currently on a co-ed floor, and I would hate living on a single-sex floor. A floor of all males would get old, and a lot of my friends are female. Unless you have some aversion to it, I would suggest co-ed.

I enjoyed living on a coed floor. I’d definitely recommend it. No need to segregate yourself unless you feel strongly about living with people of your own gender.

At the first college I went to during the 2 years that I stayed there, boys hall was on one side and girls hall was on the other side so it was a single hall. However, it’s nothing bad. Co-ed means that you will share the hall with the opposite sex. Single means you will be with the same sex. Both are good. Co-ed means that the females and males would need to cooperate with each other and ahem not have too much fun. Single hall means that you don’t need to worry so much. Either way, you’ll have a great experience!

coed .
