Single Sex ... all freshman dorm?

I think another user posted something in a similar vein, but here is my question:

{1} As a soph., female transfer, does the single sex dorm (Lee House) hold more freshamn than say, a single sex floor?

{2} Also, have you witnessed (or learned through the grapevine) that freshman prefer single sex floors over coed floors?

Lee is small and VERY quiet. It probably has less occupancy than a single sex floor. As for the amount of freshmen, you will probably see almost no freshmen in Lee, or on westside at all (where Lee is located). Willamette likes to put the majority of freshmen on the other side of campus, where it is easier to foster a sense of community for the newbs.
Single sex floors are usually A LOT quieter than co ed ones. Doors tend to be shut, or people never around. If you are looking to focus on studying or avoid freshmen, this would be a good option (or substance free). If you want to be more integrated with the social scene, perhaps try a co ed dorm.
I hope this helps!
