hey
i'm pretty sure that i want to live in the quad but i really don't know whether i'd like a single or a double.
any suggestions?

I wanted a roommate because I wanted to get to know another person well. My hope is that we'll become great friends and speak to each other for years to come. If that's not something that concerns you, get a single. You have your own room in that case. Personally, I've had my own room for the past 18 years and it's really not important that I have one. If you've shared a room so far, you might want to get a single to finally have your own space.

meh, I put single on all my options. Personally, I prefer having my own, personal space and this way I don't have to be around someone I might not even like....IMO a single gives you the liberty to hang around who you want, not random people who ended up being your roommates.

get a roommate.

I'd say, if you've never had a roommate before, get a roommate. I had one my freshman year in boarding school, and it was great because we were best friends, but on the other hand, I also adopted some pretty bad study/sleeping patterns. I applied for all singles except for two-room doubles in gregory and fisher-hassenfield.
