SIR Fee: Waived until registration fees are due

<p>I am confused if my SIR actually went through or not. From what I understand, UCI require a 100 dollar deposit so students can't nonchalantly send their SIR everywhere. However, according on my status, does this mean I don't have to pay a 100 dollar deposit? I am not sure when "registration fee" are due</p>

<p>I think you don’t pay it until school starts (September or late August). The same thing occurred to me. We will probably pay it altogether with our tuition</p>

<p>I am wonder why this is the case for us though. A lot of my friends who got their application waived still had to pay their SIR, so it’s not that. Is it because we applied for EOP?</p>

<p>I didn’t have to pay the SIR fee yet either, I applied to EOP as well, but I do not know if it correlates. I had to drop 20 bones for the housing crap.</p>

<p>Yup, I didn’t have to pay for the SIR either and I applied to EOP earlier. I also had to pay $20 for the housing app. So the SIR fee isn’t really waived? D:</p>

<p>I think this means that you don’t have to pay the fee until you register for classes sometime during the summer or before classes begin.</p>
