If you are in honors, what percent of your classes are smaller sized (than they would be if you were not in honors)?

I did not apply for the Honors College, but I am taking Honors Accelerated Calculus, and also Honors Physics. Below are the class sizes of the non honors sections and my honors classes:

MATH 124 (non honors): 90
MATH 134 (HONORS): 39

PHYS 121 (non honors): 198
PHYS 121H (HONORS): 69

Hey compactrunner,

what is the grade curve for the honors classes? do you find honors to be easier than regular?

Since I’m only a week or so into my classes, not sure how the curves will compare to non honors classes. The one thing I know is that my physics professor is going to artificially boost the curve by .3 points I think in order to compensate for the difficulty level. I think it’s a prof by prof basis.

I kinda wish I was taking honors physics at the moment, but I wanted to do Sanskrit at 9:30, so a sacrifice was required.

But yeah, I’ve noticed that my physics class is pretty huge. Unfortunate, but unavoidable. (pretty much anything beyond intro stuff will have smaller classes, though, so I’m not too worried)
