SJSU Vs SFSU (SE and CS respectively). Should I worry about Impaction ?

I feel SJSU is better in every way (good rankings, great cs and engineering departments, jobs, beautiful campus). But I’ve come to know that SJSU classes are heavily impacted and it would be tough to graduate in 4 years if you don’t get into the classes you need to graduate. I want to graduate in 4 years at any cost (unless i get a internship/job to pay for extra tuition). I’m really into programming and want to work in the valley after I graduate. Should i worry about the impaction issue ?

impacted is different than over-crowded. I’d encourage you to talk to some current students at both schools and see how accessible classes are. At most CSUs - you can get the classes you need but, you might not like the time or prof.
