I heard from my interviewer that Sloan had a 5-year MBA program where undergraduate business majors could stay and get their MBAs. However, I've never heard or read about this anywhere else. Is there a such program at MIT? And if so, is it open to everyone, or is there a selection process involved?

There are five-year SB/MEng programs in many of the engineering departments, but I’ve never heard of Sloan having a five-year SB/MBA program, and it’s not listed on their [curriculum page](http://mitsloan.mit.edu/academic/overview.php#undergrad).

Is there an application process involved for the SB/MEng programs?

I don’t know about the other departments’, but the EECS MEng program has a minimum required GPA (4.25) and a required set of courses, but every student who meets the requirements can do the MEng if they want to.

There’s more information on the EECS MEng here.

reminder: that minimum GPA is out of 5
