SLU- Madrid

Hi, so I've been seriously looking at St. Louis University at the Madrid campus and I really like it. First of all, I really love that it's in Spain and the classes are small. After researching the school, I think it's a perfect fit for me. However, my mom is completely against it. She's worried that it's not an accredited school and that it has a bad reputation in the States. It's absolutely out of the question for both of my parents. It's also not about the money, because my mom wants me looking at medium sized liberal arts colleges that are almost twice as much as SLU- Madrid. She also doesn't like that the school has a smaller number of four year degrees, however, the school has the three majors that I am most interested in. I don't get it. Help?

Study abroad? Spend a semester of year at SLU-Madrid, and the other time at a US college. Win-win.
