I have narrowed my choice down to these 3 schools and I am having trouble deciding. I've been accepted to the 6-year DPT program in all three and have received similar Merit aid from them. Can anyone give me insight as to why I should choose SLU over the other two. I visited SLU in October and loved it, I'm re-visiting on April 9th for Admitted Students Day.

St Louis and Marquette are similarly ranked overall - SLU is ranked far ahead of Duquesne in grad school PT which may be an indication of undergrad quality. If you loved it, I see no reason not to go there.

If I went by rankings alone, Marquette is ranked 75 for undergrade, (19 PT school), SLU is 84, (41 PT) and Duquesne is 120 (115 PT), its plain to see that Marquette is ranked as the higher quality school. But rankings don’t always tell the whole story. Every one of these schools has a 100% Ultimate Pass Rate on the PT Licensing Exam and 100% job placement. Actually, Duquesne has the better First Time Pass rate on the licensing exam with only one person failing the 1st time they took the test in 5 years. So as far as this major goes, all schools are really good, so I’m not that concerned with the undergrade ranking. The PT ranking is mostly conducted by opinions of the professors, not actual data. So I think that the pass rate is a better # for me to go on. Also, all three schools have gross anatomy cadavers in the PT labs - not all schools have that. I also didn’t mention that I will be in the Honors College in each of these schools so that does help with extra guidance.

What I’m really looking for is to find out what the campus itself has to offer. I really want more that just a good academic school, I want a social life, too. I would love to know what the students are like, what the city is like, etc.

I only know what I have seen in short visits, and what I have read. Can anyone give me more insight as to what the “SLU Experience” is like. Pro’s and Con’s, so to speak.

Also - I really like a lot of aspects of all three schools when I visited them. That’s why my decision is so hard. Any information will help. Thanks!
