<p>I've heard that Whitman provides a great community for students and I'm just curious about are there many student who go to Whitman and graduate with a spouse? Since the school is small and everyone sort of knowing each other.</p>
<p>There definitely are people who marry their Whittie classmates...dunno about the specific percentage. I do remember at one similar school (or it could've been Whitman) a third of alumni eventually married a classmate. Oooh, scary. :D</p>
<p>if you want to get married in college go to bates. 60% of graduates marry each other. haha.</p>
<p>I've heard that many do marry other alums, though few seem to be engaged and virtually none married before graduation. I think it's more that they travel in the same circles after graduation.</p>
<p>My parents met at Whitman and married after graduation. :D</p>
