<p>Agreed with above posters - you should look into Groton. Top-notch academics, but highly selective.</p>
<p>I don't know the basis of the "1 hour" restriction, so I just point out that you will not, legally, get from Boston to any of those places in an hour. They are all great schools.</p>
<p>Groton, depends on where you are in Boston, it is more like 45 miles, about 50 from the airport.</p>
<p>Groton is less than 42 miles from the airport, so I would consider this near Boston. Don't use Google and others for directions because they take you way out of the way. Just head down route 2 and your there in 45-50 minutes in normal traffic...following the speed limit.</p>
<p>Many forget St. George's which is only 70 miles south and a small school. It's becoming more difficult to get into as the acceptance rate continues to drop a percent or two each year. It seems to have become a very popular choice in the last couple of years.</p>
<p>what is the definition of "small"? Usually Exeter is not considered a small school (1000 kids).</p>
