Small party college?

I may be a little too picky with this… but I’m looking for a small school with a good party scene near Los Angeles or Manhattan (close to the city… but it doesn’t have to be in the city) I work best in small classes, but I would like to go to a good party every once in a while. Maybe even in a small town (near one of the two big cities) any ideas?? Again, I’m probably being too picky, but it’s worth a shot

You already have a sense that this is a bit picky. I would suggest this: describe more why you want something so specific, and you may find that there are more general options that would meet the same goals / needs.

You do realize that parties happen at practically every college, yes? Why does the location in NYC or LA matter when you can find them anywhere? If you’re outside of the city you want to party in by any significant margin, how are you getting home after the party to that small town or suburb?

To me, it sounds like this shouldn’t be a part of your college search. Not because it is an invalid consideration, but I think just about every college would offer what is needed in regards to parties.

La Salle University & St Joe’s. They’re in Philadelphia, though.

St John’s in NYC.

University of Redlands.

Try looking at Occidental. It’s a small college in LA which is meant to have a pretty decent party scene. Maybe Loyola Marymount in LA too? It’s medium sized, not small, but supposedly has an awesome social scene.

Eugene Lang College at the New School, in NYC.

Sarah Lawrence, Marist and Vassar aren’t that far from NYC, but I don’t what their party scene is like. In NJ, maybe Drew, Oh and then there’s Wagner College on Staten Island.

There are parties at all colleges, even small or “dry” ones.
So if your goal is to go to parties every weekend, don’t worry there’ll be plenty at all colleges.

Why near NYC or LA though?
If you mean big cities, what about Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle, Houston, Portland (OR and ME), Minneapolis-St Paul…?
What about college towns, which are like a concentrate of what college students like in big cities, without the parts that don’t apply to them?

I was accepted to take classes at a prestigious film program. It’s on a part time basis. I’m only taking a couple of classes outside of my regular classes. They have two locations, LA, and NYC

Are you an adult student? Would you be going to college part-time?
What is the part-time prestigious film program?
