I took the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) earlier this year and scored perfect scores in both the ELA and Math sections, and I’m pretty proud of this accomplishment.
The SBA was administered to many juniors throughout the nation this year as an experimental test. The SBA is designed to check how well students match up to the Common Core Standards. There was lots of controversy over the test, and many juniors opted out.
Even with all the fuss about the assessment, there is still a handful of colleges that will let high scoring SBA students take higher level classes.
My Questions:
Should I include my SBA scores in my college application?
Where would I reference my SBA scores in the common app?
