There's so much out there about undergradute Business degrees not being worth what they used to (outside of the absolute top programs in the country). So what would probably be a smarter route for someone who still intends to work within the Business field? Esp. someone who is not yet sold on an MBA

What do you call absolute top programs in the country btw?

I’d say econ. Personally, if I don’t get into Wharton, UVa, Emory or Michigan I’m going to major in econ and then get an MBA instead of majoring in business.

If you do undergraduate business and concentrate in accounting/finance, I still think that it is a pretty good way to go.

Most Top 50 programs beat the crap out of being an English major these days. You have at least an 80% probability of getting a real job if you want one and have over a 3.25 GPA
