<p>First of all acting is HARD!!! And if a celebrity got their M.A or M.F.A from one of the top grad schools for acting, then YES they are intelligent. Maybe they're not book smart, but if you can survive Yale School of Drama (commonly referred to as JAIL) then you are one savvy actor. That may not translate to physics, but in the artistic arena, they are incredibly knowledgeable.</p>

<p>Scotch, I disagree with you. Kanye West is not the dumbest celebrity. He went to Chicago State University (although he did drop out) and his mother is an English teacher. He has received much acclaim for having meaningful lyrics and was the most nominated for the Grammys last year....more than can be said for most hip hop artists (or most celebrities in general). I think his lyrics that Bush doesnt care about blacks was admittedly a little exaggerated (although not unfounded, especially when the media always refers to blacks as looting and whites as "finding food"), you should not label him as dumb because he said something deroggatory against your conservative hero George W Bush.</p>
