Also, for people who are saying that their page says submitted, mine said that too but it let me click on “2018 First Year ED 2” which was highlighted in blue on the left, and from there I clicked on “Open application” where it then said an update was posted to my page today–I clicked on that and it opened the acceptance letter in a new browser.
i did that and it just brings me back to the page that says “application submitted”
@sapphiccatlover congrats!
@livie07270 same
People who got an email all receives an acceptance letter, does not receiving an email means you are rejected?
Dean Shaver twitted 7 mins ago, saying students who are having problems can email Karen Kristof at kkristof@smith.edu.

Just got a likely letter from Smith College!!
Dear my name,
I know the wait for college decision letters can be agonizing. I’ve decided to admit a select group of applicants early. Congratulations - you’re one of them!
We will be mailing your formal letter of admission on March 23. In the meantime, celebrate with your family and friends since you have been officially admited to the Smith College Class of 2022!
They wrote a personal note: Beautiful essay-- we would be proud to call you a Smithie!!!
YAY!!!
OMG! Congratulations!
Congrats! Did it come through e-mail?
@sciencenerd123 I got one today too (via snail mail)!
Smith doesn’t do likely letters, they do early writes so it means you’re definitely 100% accepted! Congrats! They also pick stride recipients from the early writes
@Fangirl1999 Oh ok I didn’t know what to call it, but it basically said that I was definitely accepted. What is Stride?
Early acceptance! Congrats to all of you that made it this far and good luck !
STRIDE is a scholarship and research opportunity, you can probably find info on the website
I got my early acceptance in the mail today!
So did people who are receiving letters of acceptance (or likely decisions or whatever you call them) right now apply for ED2? Or are they just sending some decisions early?
