Smith college vs. Nyu

Hi,
I was accepted to both schools ...
but I am having a really hard time deciding between these two..
I know they are very different.

I am torn b/c NYU has amazing internships, its more prestigious than Smith? (i'm just judging by the acceptance rate this year and rank), fun b/c it's in the city but i heard professors don't really help you b/c they are so busy and too many students, and you can get lost academically which happens to me alot.
Even in high school, I was more of a student who would go to extra help after school.

Smith - i don't think they offer as great job opportunities as NYU, but great professors and seems more helpful and students seem more satisfied at Smith than at NYU.

Although I've always wanted to live in the city b/c you can do so many fun things and I really consider ranking and prestige important, I really want to get an amazing education and go to a really good grad school.

I need opinions pleaseee... what should i do??
Thank you.

Whether Smith or NYU is more “prestigious” is a matter of opinion. The Smith alumnae network is unbeatable, and in my observation as a graduate of one of the other sisters, when you’ve been out of college for a while, the alumnae of the other sisters will consider you to be one of their own as well.

If you have specific concerns about internship placement or job placement after graduation, it is perfectly fine for you to pick up the phone and call the career center at Smith. They will be happy to talk with you about the opportunities their students and alumnae have.

Wishing you all the best
