I don't know what to pick because neither of the two correspond to my image of "fit", but they gave me enough aid to make it possible to attend.
Could you please help me?

I am interested in Math(very important factor), Econ and Japanese.

Well, Smith has programs in each of these areas that are very good, but I'm sure Hamilton does too. They're just very different kinds of schools, do you have a more specific question to ask? Or can you describe more what your idea of "fit" would be?

I'm not quite sure how to explain it. For example most of my friends are very smart, don't talk about clothes or other things which just create appearances, but do have a unique way to dress or represent themselves. We spend our free time playing math games, discussing books or local/global political issues. Also we do a lot of community service, organizing our own projects. So, basically I would like to be surrounded by people like my friends at home (I live outside of US).

TheDad, I also have a question about the math department. Is your daughter satisfied with the course options? Is she able to enroll in the classes she wants? Are there a lot of classes not offered yearly with a limited enrollment?

Been very satisfied with course options. She did take one semester in a very competitive math program in Budapest and did not feel she was "outgunned" by her peers, though I think there's at least one class she'd taken at Smith before she went away. She's on the "pure" rather than the "applied" side of things, fwiw. The Math department is fairly small but she has extremely close relations with several of the profs.
