<p>Out of curiosity, what is the academic reputation of Smith in regards to schools like Carleton and UChicago. Do you imagine UChicago is a great deal more rigorous?</p>

<p>As far as I know, Chicago is known to be more rigorous than Smith. Carleton, I don't know much about that school. However, if you do well at either school(Smith or U CHicago), you will not have trouble at moving to the next level, be it the working world, professional school, or graduate school. Both schools are known to have very focused students.</p>
