SMU vs. UTD (Computer Science)

Hey guys get accepted to both schools and was wondering which one I should pick thinking about double majoring in CS and Finance. Also got the second century scholars program ($20,000/yr for 4 years) from SMU and no final financial aid package from UTD. So I have some questions regarding both colleges before I want to make my final decision (also still waiting on some other colleges).

Is CS at SMU good compared to UTD?
Is it easy to intern (specifically Amazon, Google, Cisco, Microsoft, etc…) for CS positions at SMU?

If there are some Alums from either school who can help me make my choice that would be great thanks

I hope you also posted this on the SMU forum.

It isn’t easy to intern at the above businesses from either school. You need to have a very high GPA to get noticed. I know with Google, you do phone technical interviews, at least 2 to 3, to start. You will program over the phone for an hour while talking about your approach. If you pass the technical interviews, they will then try to project match you. There is no guarantee that you will be matched. If you are, there is another interview, more social than technical. It is a long drawn out process. I do know these companies as well as many more do visit and interview UTD students but it is difficult process to get hired.
