snail mail from housing

does anyone know when we receive it by?

What’s in the packet anyway?

I thought the most important thing was the room assignment and the room mate info. AHah I don’t need anything else. =)

I just got mine today. It’s most of the stuff on the move-in day website. Also had some other things like your RA and RD, whether or not you got a parking permit, your meal plan type, and if you’re in any special interest housing.

Not really a packet. More like a brochure.

… yeah. i can careless about the packet then. but my guess is… you’ll get it monday.

yeah i got it today, its pretty much a brochure like shared mentioned above.

does it say when our move-in day is on the packet?

yea, im gonna be moving in on the 20th

Did anyone get Sep 21 Monday as move-in date?

ughhh *** i dn’t get mie yet -___-

Do they send mail on weekends?

just on saturdays and usps aint working monday cause of labor day

So, we gotta wait till sunday then

they don’t send mail on sat or sun…or at least where i live
but it should be like that everywhere

tuesday. they work saturdays here but it takes about a week for things to get here from rside for some reason even though it less than a 2 hour drive away and its in the same LA metro area

I really want my ucr card!!

you get your ucr card when you check in on moving day

i thought the moving day was optional which day you wanted.is there a way i can find out when my moving day is b/c i haven’t received the mail yet.

I think everyone moves on the 20th but since 20th is a religious holiday(eid ul fitr) for some people 21st would be a more convenient move-in day.
