<p>Did they get snowed in out in CS? Seems to be slow in here this week.</p>
<p>We had a blizzard yesterday. 18 inches of snow. 4th time in 20 years that the base has closed. It was pretty fun. I have good pictures from it. We also had no classes, looks like a lucky year for the 4 digs. Optional meals too.</p>
<p>Yeah, I am trying to fax them something and I keep getting a fast busy signal (which normally means the local telecom network is overloaded.) With all the downed power lines/trees that normally accompany 18 inches of wet snow I'm think that things will be a mess for a while. </p>
<p>Go make some 'sprit' snowmen!</p>
<p>I have to like the snow fort in the middle of the T-zo!...although, on top of spirit hill would have been better.</p>
<p>A lot of cadets shuffled to class today on the ice. I tried to walk carefully, but almost went down about 5 times on my way to class. I saw a couple guys walking through one of the quads in Fairchild. They were up to their knees in snow.</p>
<p>Yesterday was not a pleasant day (at least outside)...High winds with blowing snow. Some people converted their ironing boards into makeshift snowboards. That didn't last too long in the weather though.</p>
<p>Yup, my s was one of those on the ironing boards. He said it was a great day!</p>
