So am I top 30 caliber? Top 40? 50?

SAT: 2030
GPA: 3.25 (3.15 unweighted) - top 25% of class (600 per class)

I'm speaking in terms of LAC's.

Depends on what classes you have taken, what EC’s you have, what kind of person you are, and how you convey that in an essay. Your great SAT scores will definitely help. You should look at the stats from LAC’s you like and see where you stand. Remember, top 30, top 40, etc. means nothing really: create your own tier of schools to find the right one for yourself.

Bessie is right. If you look at any list ranking schools, you will see that there is a huge variety of academic and social experiences at all points on the list.
Start with what will make you happy, not what an arbitrarily chosen school might be seeking.

I appreciate the advice guys, but it seems both of you misunderstood my motives in making this thread. This is sort of just a pseudo-chance thread.
