So... I need help coming up with colleges to apply to, thankfully, I still have a year left to choose. (I'm a junior).

I know that I'm going to apply to McGill, Georgetown (and if I do get in there, I would drop everything else), William & Mary, and possibly LSE. Although... I went to London last week and the weather there was horrible :( So... kind of reconsidering that one. I'm sort of considering NYU, Columbia (but maybe not because everyone from my school applies there), George Washington, Spellman College, and Howard.

I'd really like to go to a school that
- is in a city, preferably a large one, but a medium size one is okay too
- has some diversity
- has a strong history, poli sci, or language programs (doesn't have to have all three)
- doesn't have to be in the US
- weather... hmm... please nothing where i need to wear thermal underwear

Mention any college/uni you think I might be interested in, whether big or small, hard to get into or not, lac, whatever.

Without knowing your stats, it’s a bit hard to advise. Here are some other options not too unlike the schools you’re currently interested in:
BU
Boston College
Tufts
American U
U of Chicago
Stanford
Berkeley
UCLA

thanks, yeah I was considering all of those except stanford, AU and the Boston ones.

so atm considering; W&M, Georgetown, Howard, McGill, NYU, Columbia, George Washington, Berkley, GMU, Washington & lee, University of Chicago, Tufts, St. Andrews.

Washington & Lee is a bit of a gamble considering the size… and the town… ><
speaking of towns… williamsburg anyone? but even still… I absolutely love W&M

well i honestly don’t know.
i guess if stretched, they could probably pay about 40k but even that would be a bit hard.

at the end of the day, money shouldn’t be an issue. if my parents can’t afford it, i’d get it some other way. thankfully, i have an extremely supportive extended family who’d always help out

plus i’d get instate tuition in virginia and i’m a US citizen.

Boston College and Northeastern. BC has a great liberal arts program. NU may be a good safety as it has a good poli sci program (very liberal, so should be okay with that. Dukakis is a faculty member for Poli Sci at NU).
