So confused

Um ok I'm new on this site and wasn't sure if I should post this here or on the international students site (because I'm not from the States). Anyway I'm in my last year of high school and I really want to apply to UCLA's film program, but on their BA page (which I, pretty sure is their only undergrad program?) it says they don't admit at freshman level...so what do I do? Do I have to go to uni here first for 2 years?

Also if possible please explain in Layman's terms because I don't understand most of the terms, like 'credits'.

Thanks in advance

I think what it means is that you can be accepted to UCLA as a freshman undeclared major or pre-film major. You will be taking General Education courses and some lower division Film courses during the first 2 years ( freshman and sophomore), and at the end of your sophomore year, you will turn in an application to the School of Film and Theater and hope to be accepted. From what I hear, it is very competitive and the School takes about 30 to 40 students every year. I would talk/email that department for more info. Good luck!
