So I just sent off my Cornell essay just now and I noticed a typo right after I sent it ( it was 11:59 and I didn’t have time to proof read it) and now I’m pretty upset because it was almost perfect. To make matter worse it wasn’t a spelling error but by accident I used the same word twice in a row so I think its definitely noticeable. I just hope they don’t notice it. I was also really nervous when I sent my essay lol my heart was pounding
Don’t even worry about it. Repeating a word is not a big deal, ok? Relax and be happy you are done.
I don’t think they’ll reject you on the basis that you had ONE typo. I was recently accepted to UMich and I wrote ‘invalved’ instead of ‘involved.’
Good point, I noticed it right when I read it so I was hoping that the Adcoms would read over it :S but I guess its not that big of a deal. I also put a space after a hyphen in my common app like last month but for that I didn’t really care. Hopefully things go well for me
