<p>3 ppl at my school got interviews from what i know. its really weird though, this girl has been getting in everywhere and she has lower stats than most people. she got into harvard ea, and got multiple med school interviews. its really weird becuase she is asain and she has OK stats.</p>

<p>jeeeeeeeeeeeeez i really wanna know the stats of someone who's been called for a USC interview... btw i heard that an INSANE number of people have applied to a lot of these programs this year...like 200 more than there were last year for some of them <e.g. usc=""> ...not completely sure if its true...but if it is, then all i can say is --> just our BADDDDD luck to be in a madly competitive year eh?? =(..... <em>sigh</em> .....</e.g.></p>

4.0uw, 2100SAT, 690math2c, 720BioE, Volunteering at elderly homes (thats all as far as medical related experience)
nothing else significant, no sports/unusual activites.</p>
<p>pardon my french, but what kind of freakin crap is this? Lol, sorry sour grapes, props to your friend, but the process is just SOOOOOOO random i feel like i shouldn't have worked as hard..lol that was pretty stupid to say but this is like the 100th time I have heard of ppl who haven't done as well or done as much and has beaten everyone better than him to top schools or programs.....I don't know, I'm not hating or anything but it does get a bit frustrating when the structure of the selection process is so wobbly.</p>
