4.0uw, 2100SAT, 690math2c, 720BioE...got an interview????? I don't know...I completely agree!!!

^exactly how im feeling

and mannn i wish they would at least give us some sort of solid REASON in our rejection letter's so we get some idea of what it is in all the hard work we've been doing for YEARSSSSSS that made us seem less appealing for even an interview than other people...i know adcoms have a lot to do, and they're busy and all...but honestly, i think we put a whole LOTTTTTT more time and effort into our applications than it would take them to write a small note as to why they've decided against us.

arghhhh :( :(
lol

don't worry about it. Just believe in karma.

yeah, but it was just nice to let some frustration out.

BS/MD programs are like ivies...you'll see some great people getting rejecting and some so-so people getting in. They look at more than scores, just the overall feel of the application. Bragging too much makes them think twice (meaning saying you're in this club and that club even though you might not really be involved in one of them). They want to see commitment not a resume full of crap. I'm sure you guys will be fine.

wow none of you got interviews? I was suprised when I got an interview because of its weird/tough selection process. Well, its not a big deal anyway since they only accept like 30 kids, but really... One of my friends had similar stats as me and was rejected which leads me to believe the essays were stressed.

Sure, "BS/MD programs are like ivies...you'll see some great people getting rejecting and some so-so people getting in." I have Stanford but rejected by USC BS/MD!

I got rejected from USC as well. But, in hopes of cheering everyone up, Im sure that we all tried our best to get into (well in this case, at least be considered by interview) for these highly selected programs, and thats the best we can do. The adcoms are looking for something specific, and as it said on my very thin rejection letter, a rejection says nothing about our ability to become doctors. I will not say that Im not sad/mad/etc. I am, very much so, but all this means we just need to work that much harder. And when we all become amazing doctors, we will look back on this experience and see that it did not change a thing. Btw-random question, did anyone rejected from USC BS/MD get an interview for scholarship into the USC undergrad?

me, Trustee

i was rejected from USC BA/MD as well....arghh

flying out for the lehigh drexel interview today, wish me luck...

funkmasta, is your interview tomorrow? I just went today.

how was the lehigh/drexel interview?

pretty good. The usual questions and the interviewer was pretty nice.

thanks... did u have more than one interview? how long was it?

just got back from lehigh/drexel interview....wen't well I guess, but there is no way I can determine what they thought of me, because they are mysterious....sure, they were laughing and smiling the whole time, but because i am a paranoid person I tend to reaad into things too much. Anyways, overall it was a good interview. Foodisgood you went on monday? you wouldnt happen to live in chino hills or anywhere in california would you? It seems when i went there I was the only person from the west coast, teh rest were from pennsylvania, statin island, maryland, long island, etc...
