So heres my MBA plan what do you guys think?

Currently I hold a BA in Political Science, just graduated last year from a university in the top 100 and I can't find a job anywhere. I have some part time work experience in customer service but no full time work experience yet. My undergrad GPA is 3.5 and if I score well on my GRE I can go to a good business school: from what I've been told by USC admissions, UC Irvine admissions, and UC Davis admissions I don't need work experience (its just something they recommend) to get into an MBA program.

My Plan:
I plan to apply to USC, UC Irvine, and UC Davis MBA programs on a part time basis and get an entry level full time financial or management consulting job, from what I read on careerbuilder.com I'm perfectly qualified for one. These are 3 year programs and all of them require a completion of an internship before obtaining your MBA so basically I can have 3 years of entry level consulting experience and internship credit by the time I obtain my MBA.

So what do you guys think is this a good plan?

You sound like a better candidate for an MS Finance or MPAcc. MBA recruiting is not targeted at entry-level hires and without pre-MBA work experience you won’t be a very competitive candidate for the typical post-MBA positions. You might be able to get an MBA with a concentration in Finance or Accounting, but those will not open any doors for you that a straight Fin/Acct degree would not. Also, if you decide to go the MPAcc route, you can get 98% of the benefit from a lower cost option such as CSU Fullerton.

Where does CSU Fullerton rank in MPAcc programs?
