89 math, 83 verbal, and.. uh, the score-that-must-not-be-mentioned for reading comprehension.
overall was 80. :@

Overall was 87 here. The reading was flat out stupid and confusing.

no offense to TheGrammarFairy, or to anyone else, but please don't complain about your scores when they are that high. how do you think someone with a 75 overall is going to feel??

sorry i promise i'm not trying to preach, and i am not saying this because you hurt my feelings or anything. haha, i did well on the ssats. im simply warning you that you need to be mindful of others on this forum, not everyone did as well as you did. :)

99 math, 99 verbal, 85 reading.
i think 99 overall.....

DiveAlive, did you get a 68 in reading comp.????????????????????????

I got 98 overall.

Hehe. Smile, that was my first average. And I'll tell you, I DID feel bad when people talked about their scores, and how God-awful a 91 was.

I ended up with 99 Math, 99 Verbal, and 85 Reading. Ugh! Some of the questions were so ambiguous it was hard to tell what answer they wanted!!!

Welcome to the world of testing! I'm preparing for the AP Language and Composition exam, and it is full of passages filled with question to which the answers make no sense. Usually, either multiple answers fit or none of the answers fit. P@#%IP(%$

lol.

LOL.
if they think a 91 is godawful, they don't deserve it. /:
being harsh, but.. you beat 91 (out of 100) extremely intelligent students! why in the world would you be .. angry at that? :S

no, i didn't get a 68. it was in the .. 50's. ENOUGH SAID, LOL. national percentile was 92, but that didn't make much sense.. :S

WOW

how did that HAPPEN!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

jeesh i feel like someone's mom

It happened because the reading section is a frigin joke.

it's kinda luck, depending on what passages you get

hey I got a good score
maybe I;m just more in tune with the test creators' energy! hahahahah!

posh...lucky
i sat there staring at the paper and doing this weird spazzy tapping pencil on the desk and squinting and making weird faces at myself thing i do when i'm trying to think. i bet the proctor was wondering if something was wrong with me

Nerves=shot!

aren't we all...

aww THANK YOU mmoynan, since apparently you were the ONLY one to read my post!

Back to the original question, my nerves might just explode while I walk into school tomorrow

LOL Smile! :D:D

Oh, I'm not complaining about my scores. Actually, when I got them, I was on vacation somewhere tropical and I started hyperventilating and ran out onto the porch to show my mom. Then I called my dad. I was that psyched.
Sample Reading Test Passage Question
It was sunny and warm for days. Then the ____ changed. It turned cloudy and cool.

Which word makes the best sense in the blank?
A) Purple
B) Yes
C) Pie
D) Weather
E) Beef

Answer: C

I was just complaining about the ambiguosity of the questions in the reading section. I'm still glad I did as well as I did. My parents do joke, though, that "I can't read" since my score in reading was a bit lower than the others. I don't care that it was a bit different, though.
