So how hard exactly is Duke School of Medicine to get into?

I was recently over at the hospital in Duke (doctors appointment with my mother) and I have heard that the med school is basically the best in the country. But theoretically speaking, if I'm able to get a 3.7+ GPA,30+ MCAT, and work as an EMT for a few years what would my chances be at getting accepted into the university, And what is the average scores for incoming medical students?

The theoretical MCAT and GPA are both below Duke’s median for accepted students. Additionally Duke is a very research-oriented school and your lack of significant research will definitely hurt your chances for admission there.

EMT isn’t a “lock” for med school admissions. Applicants with EMT, CNA and/or medical scribing credentials and experience are dime a dozen among med applicants.

It’s almost certainly higher now.
